Fall Times

Wiped after tummy time!

We're trying to stop this...her mother did the same thing...Oh, no!

She was so excited to put on her first tutu.

Three Months now!

Finally sleeping in her crib. This was a two week process...I didn't think she'd ever switch from her bassinet, but after trying EVERYTHING...twice, she finally decided that the crib was great! She sleeps even better now.

First Halloween costume...doubles as a walking jacket for the fall too!

Alexis decided that her flower costume was okay and she kinda likes it I think...

Alexis joined us for the first time (outside the womb) for beer making! Nichelob will soon feature "Lexi Lite" during the holidays.

Kim is to man her post and keep stirring so the beer stew doesn't overflow!!

Alexis soon found our hobby boring...

Ready to greet trick-or-treaters, Alexis wore her "Hair Monster" shirt.

She loves her bumbo on Colts Game Day. If only mother would get out of the way of the telly.

Happy Halloween!

Alexis is very excited for her first Halloween and couldn't wait to get started on the pumpkins.
She had her bib on just in case she dribbled some of the gew on her shirt.

With the thrill of her first carving, she grabbed the knife! Dad had to explain that little girls don't get to use the big knife.

Mommy shared the glitter pens with Alexis instead.

Alexis couldn't believe how much gew was inside the pumpkin. She thought there was probably enough room inside for her to fit...hummm...that's an idea...

It was all fun and games inside until...

...Lexi got gew between her toes...What a princess.
(Soon she'll learn that she isn't one.)

Alexis disappeared while we were carving. She said she was taking a nap, but this is what we found. She is so sneaky.

Every girl needs glitter on her pumpkin!

Alexis also wanted a nice greeting pumpkin for the trick-or-treaters. She has her costume, but we have to convince her that it's cute...last night we only got crying pictures. We'll try later and post some happy faces hopefully.

Bath time fun!

Alexis is really starting to enjoy her bath-time! Last week she had hand-foot-mouth disease and baths were the one thing that really calmed her down. She is all better now and glad to be out of quarantine.

Alexis wasn't sure what she thought about going to Grandpa Sweet's house!

Alexis' first big party

Alexis attended her first big party - Blake (Nick's cousin) and Jenny Haan's wedding. She loved seeing all of the people. She got nervous when we first arrived at the wedding and her tummy made a little surprise for us. Nick sure did look funny changing a diaper in a tux...only the Lahrmans! She enjoyed looking at the lights and listening to the music as the reception. Needless to say, she slept great that night!

My new boyfriend...

Rachel and I are roomates from Purdue. This is her two week old son, Tyson. Alexis is now five weeks old...such a big girl.

Alexis isn't good with personal space. I need to tell her about staying out of people's "bubbles." Tyson isn't sure what to think!
Now she's done it!

I think he's wiping off a kiss right now. Doesn't she look like she's done something sneaky like that?!

"Oop!" Alexis says! "Mommy caught me!"

More of me!

Headed out for a walk at the park and trying to stay cool...

Crazy hair night after a bath

Here is m sleeping cap...

I am so glad Laina shared her warm jackets because otherwise I wouldn't get to enjoy cool morning walks with Mom.

All that walking has made me tired!
